On September 29th, Co2Operate has presented its case on palm sugar residue to more than 35 interested borrelaars.
Co2 Operate has over 12 years of experience in developing pro-poor agroforestry systems in close collaboration with local communities in Indonesia. They are a social enterprise which creates and sustains positive economic, social, and environmental change through upgrading grasslands into pro-poor emission reduction projects. They have asked for help from the borrelaars to strengthen their business model by finding new ways to connect smallholders and their palm sugar products to western markets.
Again, the borrel was a major success! Fresh innovative ideas were presented by different groups! See the photos below.
